Hi, I am Kamand Shokoehmand (1996).

As a graphic designer and image-maker, I’m drawn to stories: how we tell them, how we see them and how they shape the ways we connect. Working across graphic design, motion, photography and film helps me explore how each medium brings the stories to life in its own way. This cross-disciplinary approach not only pushes the boundaries of visual communication but also helps me discover new ways to engage with an audience.

Coming from a multicultural background, I’ve always been aware of how much culture influences the way we experience the world, how we see ourselves and how we relate to others. That awareness naturally feeds into my work. I’m especially interested in themes like identity, everyday moments, and the space where personal and collective experiences meet. Design becomes a space where I can hold those experiences, explore them, and offer them back as something others can connect to.

Whether I’m creating moving images, printed work, or something interactive, I strive to make work that not only looks good but also invites people to pause: to notice something, to feel something, to think a little deeper. For me, design is a tool for reflection and connection; across cultures, experiences, and the many layers that shape who we are.︎︎︎
